A fantastic start to the year with so many members of the community joining us to help plant 300 beech and cherry trees at Willow Wood on Monday. This event formed part of The Queen’s Canopy tree planting initiative to ‘Plant a Tree for the Jubilee’ to commemorate Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee.

The Town Council started the journey 10 years ago. With the help of many school children, community groups and members of the public, we have completed this project that has seen 7500 trees planted, a legacy that will benefit future generations.

We would like to thank Old Amersham Revitalisation Group for funding the trees.
