Heritage Day – Programme of Events

Come along to this year’s Heritage Day on Sunday 6th September (11.30 to 17.15) for an action-packed day to celebrate Amersham’s rich heritage.

Highlights include:

• Steam engines, classic cars and funfairs
• Tudor Taster Walks and Drake Chapel (St. Mary’s Church) tours
• Paladins of Chivalry re-enactments
• Birds of prey displays
• Punch and Judy shows
• Lives bands (Damo and the Dynamites, The ZML Band and Josie Florence), Morris dancing (Whitchurch Morris) and family entertainment
• Amersham Museum’s special Heritage Day activities
• Coconut shy, axe throwing and children’s activities
• Vintage tea rooms, cream teas, street food and refreshments
• Over 60 stalls
