Heritage Day – Programme of Events

Come along to this year’s Heritage Day on Sunday 6th September (11.30 to 17.15) for an action-packed day to celebrate Amersham’s rich heritage.
Highlights include:
- Steam engines, classic cars and funfairs
- Tudor Taster Walks and Drake Chapel (St. Mary’s Church) tours
- Paladins of Chivalry re-enactments
- Birds of prey displays
- Punch and Judy shows
- Lives bands (Damo and the Dynamites, The ZML Band and Josie Florence), Morris dancing (Whitchurch Morris) and family entertainment
- Amersham Museum’s special Heritage Day activities
- Coconut shy, axe throwing and children’s activities
- Vintage tea rooms, cream teas, street food and refreshments
- Over 60 stalls
