Coronation Events – More Activities Added!
Come and join us for music and fun over during the Coronation bank holiday weekend!
On Sunday 7 May from 1.30pm-3.30pm there will be a Special Band Concert at the Memorial Gardens, Old Amersham, featuring The Polka Dots. Then from 3.30pm-7:30pm there will be a party in Church Mead, with music, food and drink, courtesy of Coopers Markets.
On Monday 8th May, 12.30-5.30pm, for Picnic in the Park (King George V playing field). Damo And The Dynamites will be performing at 12.30pm, followed by Sound Force Big Band at 3.30pm. Children are invited to join a coronation parade at 2.45pm (see flier below). In addition, there will be a children’s funfair, BBQ, drinks courtesy of the Mad Squirrel, food from The Little Street Kitchen, Amersham in Bloom plant sale, and a small selection of local community stalls.
