Crocuses Popping Up Around Town!

It is fabulous to see so many purple crocuses popping up around town.
Starting back in 2010 and every year since (the photos in the post document this journey), in conjunction with Rotary in Amersham and many school pupils we have planted over 120,000 crocuses on the verges throughout Amersham.
Why so many crocus..
The purple crocus is a symbol of the campaign by Rotary throughout the world to finally eradicate polio. So as well as adding splashes of colour it is hoped that the crocuses will raise awareness of the campaign.
