Coronation Decorations across Amersham

To celebrate the coronation of King Charles III, we have dressed the town with bunting, including a lovely display in the Memorial Gardens in addition to adding union and coronation flags to the shopfronts in Hill Ave and Sycamore Road.

We also attempted, to replicate the display from Queen Elizabeth’s coronation in 1953 on the Market Hall, using pompons created by Town Councillors, staff and other volunteers. Our grateful thanks to SparkX Limited for installing the pompoms between the Crown and the Market Hall.

.. and finally huge thanks to Su Chases Interiors for creating the illuminated crown which has also been attached to the Market Hall.
