Water for Wildlife

Now we are going through a dry spell, it’s helpful for the wildlife in our gardens to be provided with a source of water. They get just as thirsty as we do. And you can have the pleasure of watching them come to drink.  There are a variety of ways to help, and the wildlife trusts have some useful suggestions. The animals that cannot fly may need a bit of extra help to get about. Hedgehogs really appreciate being able to make themselves at home and having little gateways to get from garden to garden: a small hole at the bottom of the fence.
