Councillor Mark Roberts elected as the new Mayor of Amersham

It is with great pleasure to announce that Councillor Mark Roberts has been elected as the new Mayor of Amersham. Councillor Roberts accepted the Chains of Office from outgoing Mayor, Councillor Mark Flys, at the Annual Statutory Meeting of the Town Council which took place at King George V House last night.
Councillor Jane Barnes has been elected as Deputy Mayor.
In his farewell address, Cllr Flys, paid tribute to his fellow Councillors and Council staff, for their efforts during his two years in office.
