Christmas Tree Recycling Raises Over £3,300!

A huge thank you to everyone that supported the Council’s Christmas tree collection and recycling initiative.

In total over £3,300 was raised which will help fund many of our sustainable projects that we planned for the next year.

All of the trees that the depot team collected (over 500 in total), and that were dropped off by residents, have now been mulched with the much of the compost already being put to good use. As you will see below, we enlisted pupil’s from Stony Dean School to help mulch a path at Hervines Park.
