Fundraising: Suicide Prevention Bench

Fundraising: Suicide Prevention Bench

We’re raising funds to install a suicide prevention bench on Woodside Close – a simple but meaningful addition to our community that could make a real difference – and we need your help.

The bench will be supplied through Legend on the Bench, a charity dedicated to placing supportive benches in parks and public spaces across the UK and Ireland. Each bench features a plaque with details of 24/7 crisis support services, making it easy for anyone experiencing a mental health crisis, or supporting someone who is, to access help at any time of the day or night.

More than just a place to sit, this bench will serve as a visible reminder that support is available, that help is never far away, and that no one has to face their struggles alone.

We’d like to bring this suicide prevention bench to Woodside Close, but we need your help to make it happen.

If you’re able to contribute, no matter how much, your donation will go directly towards the cost of purchasing and installing the bench and plaque. If donating isn’t possible, sharing this post with friends and family is another great way to support the campaign.

To make a donation, please click here to access the JustGiving fundraising page. Every contribution, no matter the size, brings us one step closer to installing this suicide prevention bench for our community.
