Amersham Festival of Music Concert
It was wonderful to see the Memorial Gardens packed on Sunday for a stunning performance from the Amersham Festival of Music.
The audience enjoyed a fantastic selection of classical music, featuring Piazzolla’s The Four Seasons of Buenos Aires, music from Schindler’s List and Casals’ Song of the Birds, performed by acclaimed musicians Janice Graham (violin), Julia Graham (cello) and Chris Hopkins (piano).
The post-interval programme featured a wonderful mix of opera and jazz favourites, including Skylark, Love for Sale and Alfie, performed by the talented Tilly Goodwin, Maddie Martin and Chris Hopkins.
Immense gratitude to Chris Hopkins and everyone at the Amersham Festival of Music for bringing musicians of such exceptional quality to Amersham and for sharing this wonderful programme in the beautiful surroundings of the Memorial Gardens.
A brilliant atmosphere and a wonderful celebration of live music in the heart of Old Amersham!
