Grants Available to Local Community Groups

Word Grants On Building Blocks Concept And White Background

Applications are invited from local organisations, including clubs, societies, charities, and community groups, to apply for a grant from Amersham Town Council.

Amersham is fortunate to have a wide range of community groups and charities that make a valuable contribution to the town. The Council recognises the dedication and hard work of the many volunteers who help make Amersham a better place to live and is committed to providing financial assistance where possible.

These grants and donations aim to support organisations that demonstrate a positive benefit to the people of Amersham. The Council will normally favour organisations whose activities focus on Amersham residents and where their service or activity meets an identified local need.

Funding is open to organisations that:

  • Operate on a not-for-profit basis
  • Deliver a clear community benefit to Amersham residents
  • Are formally constituted (for example, a club, charity, association, or community group)

We encourage all eligible organisations to apply and look forward to supporting projects and activities that help strengthen our community.

Applications are invited for grants ranging from £100 to £1,500.

In exceptional circumstances, requests for grants of between £1,500 and £5,000 may be considered. Organisations seeking funding at this level are encouraged to deliver a presentation to the Council before completing and submitting an application form.

Applicants should clearly demonstrate how the funding will benefit the people of Amersham and contribute to meeting an identified local need.
