We want to hear your views about the proposed Lidl food store
Amersham Town Council wants to hear from local residents about the proposed Lidl supermarket on the King George V House site in Amersham-on-the-Hill, the former Buckinghamshire council offices.
Lidl say that there is demand for a food store which their proposals would meet and that they have produced a design which they say will work for Amersham.
So, we’d like to hear what you think to help us formulate our response.
As part of the statutory consultation process, the Town Council will be invited to submit a formal response to Buckinghamshire Council about this proposed development. However, as individual comments submitted to Buckinghamshire Council are no longer made public and are not shared with the Town Council, we would like to hear what you think.
Your feedback is important. Whether you support or oppose the proposal or simply wish to share your thoughts about things you’d like to see changed in the plans, we would like to hear from you. We’ll make sure that you get to hear the results of the survey.
If you want to expand on your answers by emailing your councillor, we’d be happy to hear from you. You can find the names of your councillors at www.amersham-tc.gov.uk/your-council/town-councillors/
Please note that this survey is separate from the official planning consultation that Buckinghamshire Council will run. Please do submit your comments via the formal channel on the planning portal, when the time comes.
Thank you for taking the time to share your views.
