Mayor’s Charity Quiz Tomorrow – Friday 28th April!

Town Mayor, Cllr Mark Roberts, invites residents and friends to a charity quiz night in aid of CHILTERN FOODBANK.

Come and try your hand, whether you’re a quizzing fanatic or simply want a night of fun raising money for a good cause. Book your tickets NOW!

Either teams of up to six or come along and join a team on the night.

The foodbank supplies emergency food parcels to people in the Chiltern District and Wendover area. They rely on donations from the general public, and have permanent collection bins in local supermarkets and a network of Food Champions around the local area. Chiltern Foodbank work with over 100 referral partners that assess needs and issue vouchers which can be exchanged for a food parcel with is delivered to the person’s home.

As this is for the foodbank, no meal is included in the ticket price, only teas, coffees and soft drinks. Instead you are encouraged to bring-your-own food and drink AND bring something to donate to the foodbank stocks – tinned or dry packaged items.

That way we can maximise what we raise for the foodbank and hopefully we can will leave the evening with a container of supplies to help people who would otherwise go hungry.
