Mayor Cllr Mark Roberts officially opens Amersham Youth @ No. 5

On Thursday evening the Mayor of Amersham, Cllr Mark Roberts, officially opened Amersham Youth @ No. 5 for Amersham Youth.

This new centre is now open five days a week providing different activities each day and a place where young people can be supported in the things that matter to them. Of the event, Cllr Roberts commented –

“It was great to meet so many of those who helped bring this new centre about, the trustees, workers and councillors from Buckinghamshire Council and so many of those who care about our young people and who are working to ensure the club continues its success into the future. After a brief word from Jack Gocher and a truly uplifting and inspirational presentation by Oli O’Neill, we were able to enjoy refreshments by Cafe Africa who are operating at the new centre. Thanks as well to Kai Randles who was the official photographer. Hats off to everyone involved.”
