Market Hall Jubilee Decorations

In 1953 the Market Hall in Old Amersham was decorated to celebrate the coronation of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
70 years later, to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee we have decorated the eastern face, with a 2022 twist!
We would like to offer our gratitude to the pupils from Stony Dean School, who over the past three weeks have assisted the Amersham Town Council to make 100’s of pompoms, which we have used to create the display!
