Jubilee events in Amersham

May 31, 2022

Come and join us for music and fun over the Jubilee weekend!

On Thursday 2nd June (12 midday till 4.30pm) we will be holding a ‘Picnic in the Park’ at King George V Playing Fields, Amersham on the Hill. There will be live music, kids funfair rides, market stalls including hot food sellers and BBQ, ice-creams and cold drinks! The Mayor will also be announcing the Citizen of the Year award winners, all of which have given so much to our community.

On Friday 3rd June (12.30pm till 4.30pm) there will be a special concert at the Memorial Gardens, Old Amersham, featuring the Soundforce Big Band and soloist Josie Florence with her jubilee twist.

On Saturday 4th June (10.30am till 2.00pm) we will be hosting an Eco-Fest at St. Michael’s Square, outside St. Michael’s Church, Sycamore Road. Children will have the opportunity to build bird boxes, paint using organic materials, collect sunflower seedlings for our annual ‘tallest sunflower’ competition, and much more.

We look forward to seeing you all there!
