Coronation Event (Monday) – Cancelled

It is with great regret that we have made the difficult decision to cancel the coronation event on King George V playing field on Monday, due to heavy rain forecast.

Sadly, this also means that the children’s coronation parade is cancelled HOWEVER we would still love to see the children in their costumes if they’d like to dress up. Please send photos to info@amersham-tc.gov.uk by Tuesday. The Mayor will choose his favourite three and award a prize!

A big part of Monday’s event was to showcase local community groups offering volunteering opportunities as part of the Big Help Out (https://thebighelpout.org.uk). If you ‘help out’ on Monday, why not send us a photo of what you’re up to.

The events in Old Amersham tomorrow will still go ahead as planned.
