Amersham Heritage Day Returns! Sunday 4th September 2022
We are pleased to announce the return of Amersham Heritage Day on Sunday 4th September 2022! It promises to be the best yet with a more jam-packed programme than ever before….with the event taking place from 11.30am until 5.30pm.
This year we have buses running from Chesham (including Chesham Bois), Little Chalfont & Amersham on the Hill to Old Amersham – There will be live entertainment throughout the day including Love That Jazz and the ever popular Children’s Princess Concert.
Plus there will be a petting zoo courtesy of Appreciating Animals, a visit from Kew Little Pigs, medieval re-enactments, football activities courtesy of Amersham Town F.C., the Chesham All Girls Marching Band and Morris Dancers all pulling in the crowds! This is in addition to several pubs along the High Street, fairground rides and classic cars.
Heritage market stalls will line the High Street complementing the craft stalls featuring demonstrations as well as a Vintage Tea Room being held in the Market Hall run by our fantastic Amersham in Bloom volunteers. And if that isn’t enough…..the following buildings will be open to the public including…. Quaker Meeting House (who are also opening their meadow and offering tea and cake to visitors), Amersham Museum, as well St. Mary’s Church who will hosting a model railway exhibition. It promises to be the best Amersham Heritage Day yet – we look forward to seeing you then!
